How long have you been in business?
The business has been registered and ready to go as of August 10' but class doesn't actually start until January 11'.
What is your primary product or service?
I am a preschool and Kindergarten Prep program all in one.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have always wanted to teach and finished my school in 2007 with a certificate for k-8. Due to budget cuts and layoffs, I have been unable to get my own contracted teaching job so I decided to start my own business in this field. I have been in the actual teaching field in a variety of ways since 2004.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I am different in a number of ways. They are: *personalized curriculum that I created based on WA state standards *Small classroom size *Incorporate all learning styles *My program tuition is much lower then the average daycare/preschool in the area
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I currently have one location and my goal is to expand yearly until I have a full private school Pre-K up to 6th Grade.

Just off of 1-90 two different ways: 1. Take the 150th st exit off of 190 proceed up the hill into south Bellevue. Turn Left onto Newport Way. At the four way stop, Turn Right up 164th Ave Se. Our Location is on the Left before you go up the hill. (4236) 2. Take the Lakemont/Newport Way Exit off of 190. Head up the hill toward Newcastle (south of the Freeway) and turn Right onto Newport Way. Follow this until you get to 164TH ave se and turn Left. Our location is on the left before you go up the hill (4236)
What type of payments do you accept?
Cash or Check. At this time we are not set up to accept credit/debit cards.
Which areas do you service?
Conviently we are located right between Bellevue and Issaquah and very close to Renton. However, we will gladly accept students from all over the Eastside.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
I (Whitney Curtis) am the owner and sole operator.
What are your hours of operation?
Office hours are Monday through Friday 830 am -1 pm, but we accept phone calls anytime Monday through Friday. Class is in session Tuesday through Thursday 830-1230.
